You can get them on Amazon for about $100 though I actually got mine on eBay. I bought a RAZER ORBWEAVER which is as gaming device, but works perfectly with Photoshop - Windows or Mac - and any other software you want shortcuts for. So I did a bit of lateral thinking and bought an external device that that has rows of real buttons that you can program with whatever keystroke combinations to like. There may be one, but I couldn't find it. I looked around for some program that could put up a window on screen with a row of 'buttons' that you could could program and click on like configurator.

Note: The recent update of Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6 does not impact the panel exported via "File->Export Panel", only impact the extension exported via "File->Export Panel as CS Extension".Īctually, this is the PERFECT solution to Photoshop CC2014 lack of configurator problem.

Please follow these steps to solve this problem:ġ. This is because the exported CS extension only targets Photoshop 13.0 and InDesign 8.0. Maybe someone can help me here with this?Īfter the recent update of Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6, the CS extension exported by Confgiurator 3/3.1 does not appear in Photoshop 13.0.1 and InDesign 8.0.1. You must provide the ID of the extension to open." Do I need to get in contact with the developer of the extension and ask him for the Extension-ID?Īdobe writes on the Configurator 4 page: " OPEN EXTENSIONS FROM A PANEL: A new widget allows your user to open other Adobe Application Extensions from your panel. Where can I find the right Extension-ID's?ģ. I tried some common names like "Coolorus" or "Coolorus2" but it doesn't work.ġ: Do I get it right, that the function "Open Extension" is the right one for my purposes?Ģ. What I need to do is to input the Extension-ID. In Configurator 4 I've found under Widgets the function "Open Extension" (in german "Erweiterung öffnen") I guess, this function should be able to call an extension. Now I want to create two buttons to access the extensions. I also bought two 3rd party extensions: "Coolorus 2" and "Magic Squire". I have created my own panel with several buttons for tool presets (via actions), showing and closing Photoshop panels and so far.
